About the Caterham Logo
When Lotus dropped the Seven in 1973 to move upmarket, Graham Nearn's Caterham concern bought the tooling, designs and rights from Colin Chapman and carried on building the minimalist roadster as the Caterham Seven. The company took its name from its original home of Caterham, Surrey, later moving to West Sussex.
